Anest Iwata have developed three
types of Split Nozzle™ 2.0 technology – WS-400 BASE LINE, WS-400 CLEAR LINE
and LS-400 BASE LINE, creating an out the box experience, producing best in class performance.

DIGITAL MANOMETER

DPG-1

Anest Iwata developed the world’s smallest quick-detachable digital manometer, the DPG-1. It has reliable and consistent performance, is easy to use and fits perfectly into the spray gun handle. Anest Iwata’s signature ergonomic design is preserved. • It keeps the centre of gravity low, maintaining the balance of the spray gun. • It turns off automatically when no pressure is applied. • It warns you when the battery is low. • It turns on automatically when the gun comes to pressure.

Anest Iwata and Pininfarina have carefully researched and developed a new design
for the body of the spray gun, maintaining the style of the original WS and LS.
For the Series 2, Anest Iwata pushed
the boundaries of the original design
of the WS/LS-400, resulting in a more contoured, lightweight body with improved balance.

BEAUTY MEETS DURABILITY

PVD Surface Treatment

The Series 2 digital version features
a brand-new special surface treatment based on PVD technology (Physical Vapour Deposition). The PVD coating provides is more durable and more scratch resistant coating, while also providing
a darker more striking appearance.

HVLP Hybrid spray gun predominantly designed for the application of both water-borne and solvent-based base coats. The LS-400 BASE is easily recognisable with its striking green finish on the adjusters and air cap rings.

The WS-400 SERIES 2 CLEAR
is a compliant spray gun that has been specially designed for a wider range of clearcoat applications. The WS-400 CLEAR is easily recognisable with its grey finish on the adjusters and air cap rings.

INNOVATIVE AND STREAMLINED

QUICK-MAG SYSTEM

Fully integrated, maintaining the balance, feel and design of the original WS and
LS-400 spray guns. Incorporated with the Click Mag Locking System, it can easily be detached for cleaning purposes.

STEP 1

Following spraying, it is important
to ensure that the spray gun is not pressurised before trying to remove
the DPG-1. A locking mechanism will prevent removal of the DPG-1 unit.

STEP 2

Turn the DPG-1 45° clockwise to disengage the Flip-Mag Locking System.

STEP 3

Detach the DPG-1 backwards.

STEP 4

Use the Trigger Locking Clip to close
the pressure reading port: this will protect the internal passages of the spray gun and enable safe cleaning.

Relocate the DPG-1 on the spray gun turned about 30°. Rotate the unit into
its normal orientation.

Ensure the Flip Mag Locking System
is engaged correctly, once done you
can continue spraying.

CHANGING THE BATTERY

DPG-1 BATTERY SYSTEM

• The battery housing is sealed
with 2 screws.

• Simply unscrew them to open
the housing, giving you direct access
to the battery.

• Battery sets including battery
and gasket are available separately.

• Battery changes are simple and easy.

The WS-400 Series 2 BASE Superior range is ideal for wet on wet basecoat applications. A wide range of optimised nozzle configurations are available for a variety of paints brands, climates, and conditions. The all new HVC pressure regulator is recommended and accurate performance and colour reproduction.

The LS-400 SERIES 2 BASE superior range is ideal for a wide range of basecoat applications. A wide range of optimised nozzle configurations are available for a variety of paints brands, climates, and conditions. • Air is pushed through the serrations, forcing air into the centre of the paint jet stream, pre-atomising the material.

Standard Nozzle:

• Air cannot penetrate the centre flow of material, limiting factors to influence atomisation and performance.
• Limited factors to influence atomisation and performance.
